ThomasTrio Update

Hi! It's been SO long since I've posted a blog entry, I'm not even sure I know how anymore.... I thought I'd give those of you who don't know me a quick update. I'm going to soon have to find a new blog title because we're expecting our fourth boy this March. We are very blessed and are praying for a healthy baby. Maybe ThomasQuartet or something. :)

I've been homeschooling our oldest son in the first grade since mid July since I'll be busy in March. It is going very well and we really enjoy our time together (although it's not always easy, this year is going much better than last year did).

I've been on my friend Katie's blog every day this past week and have so enjoyed going to the blogs of those of you who have commented on hers (you inspired me to get back to my blog a little bit). Please continue to be in prayer for my friend during this difficult time.

My husband is the pastor of our church, so that makes me a PW and our kids PK's. We love it here and love the church and the people so much. We are blessed to be here.

Now, I think that is the most I've EVER written, so I'll stop there.

My Boys

I took this picture of my boys this morning. I love them so much. Aren't they cute! I am so happy to be able to spend my days with the boys. Blessed with boys! :)

THEY'RE ALIVE!!!!!

Well after almost a month of thinking my cat had abandoned her kittens I am pleased to announce that I found them tonight!!! She had carefully chosen a spot to have them and was taking care of them in the neighbor's shed. I must appologize to her, I was almost sure they were all gonners. There are four of them and they are SOOOO cute! We moved them into our garage, so we'll see if she continues to care for them after the move. I really shouldn't doubt her anymore, she's a GREAT mommy! I'm a little sad for my husband though because he's not a "cat person" and I'm leaving for four nights this Sunday..... He'll have to babysit them. :) (I'll post better pictures of them as soon as I get batteries for my camera, I took that one with my phone).

Kittens

My cat had her kittens today and I can't find them. Frankly, I feel that she isn't being a very responsible mom because she's been wanting to hang out with me all day. She needs to go back to her kittens. It's very stormy and rainy today. Is this normal? Does anyone know anything about kittens? Why isn't she staying with them? She's not hungry, she just wants to "hang out." She's mostly an outside cat, but comes in sometimes. I really wish I could find them. I tried to follow her, but she won't go anywhere.

"F" is for Frog

A few days ago we went hunting for tadpoles because Miles is working on the letter "F" for frog in school. All we were able to catch were about 6 baby fish, which we thought were tadpoles, but weren't. Oh well, we'll try again in a few weeks. We had fun. I must admit, I had a lot more fun that I thought I would and I discovered my competitive nature. It really came out that morning. I totally got into it.

Waco Zoo

A few weeks ago we took a family trip to the zoo in Waco. It was a really cute zoo, we had a great time.

Carson Is One!!!

My littlest baby turned one on Tuesday!!! We had a quiet little birthday celebration at home with our family! :)

Fun (and not so much fun) In The Snow

We woke up to snow on the ground! It was a lot of fun! The boys had a great time playing outside in it! That is......... until Brent left for work and flipped the car completely over! It ended up on the drivers side, he had to crawl out the passengers side! Thanks be to God that he is alright! I'm so grateful!!! It was definitely an eventful day!

The Oldest and Youngest Men In My Life

Aren't they sweet!!! This is a picture of the oldest man and the youngest man in my life. Of course, I have two more smashed in the middle. I love them all!!! :)

Remote Boats

The boys got remote control boats for Christmas. We hiked down to the river behind our house last night to use them. It was a lot of fun! :)

Rocky Mountain Renewal

This past week my family and I had a chance to go to Rocky Mountain Renewal in Creede, Colorado. We had a great time of just being together. There was no TV, no internet access and no cel phone service up there. We are home now and I believe we are refreshed and ready to continue in what God has for us, although we are going to be leaving again for Phoenix for Thanksgiving. That's another long car ride. Good times, good times. :)

SOOO Much Has Happened!

Hello!!!
Well, in the past few weeks a lot has happened! My husband and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary on August 2nd. The next week he flew to Louisville for about 12 hours to do something he's always wanted to do. The boys and I spent the night in Dallas at one of my old college roomates house and her kids. We just got back from a GREAT vacation in Colorado at Beaver Creek. My oldest son turned 5 last Monday, my middle son turned 3 the Monday before that and my youngest son turned 7 months old today! Whew! Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks! Oh, Owen started his first day of preschool yesterday!
